Any CSV imported into this demo must meet the following
assumptions in order to be processed successfully as time
series data:
-
The first row must consist of unique column headers.
-
The first column must contain the datetimes for the time
series.
The datetime format may be ISO 8601 (preferred), or
a "MM/DD/YYYY" style format with optional times
(e.g. as exported from Excel) interpreted using the
local time zone.
If datetime parsing fails for a particular cell, the
corresponding row will be dropped.
-
All other columns are treated as numeric columns. Any
non-numeric cells will be parsed as "NaN" values.
-
The dataset must contain no more than 27 columns
(including the date column) since the crossfilter
library has a hard limit on the total number of
dimensions.
